Automotive Services
In today’s lean and green automotive environment, fasteners must perform
first time, every time. There is no room for driver cam-out, rework, or scrap.
That’s why Phillips continues to refine its innovative high performance drive
systems.
For ease of assembly, the high-torquing PHILLIPS SQUARE-DRIV®
combination drive system provides a “stick fit” between the driver bit and the
recess. Field service work, however, can be performed with a variety of
proprietary and standard driver bits, making this the most user friendly drive
system around the globe.
The unique PHILLIPS II® cruciform
drive system provides exceptional torque capability with lower end load,
virtually no cam-out and compatibility with generic Phillips tools in home tool
boxes.
For products destined for European markets, the POZIDRIV®
cruciform drive system is the preferred choice. It is widely used in automated
assembly and compatible with the most common tools used in Canada and the
European Union.
If a tamper resistant fastener is required with controlled tools, then the high-torquing TRI-WING®
system is the right choice.
The revolutionary MORTORQ® SUPER
spiral drive system was designed specifically for automotive and industrial
extreme torquing applications, creating the optimum bit strength and recess
strength.
Specifying Phillips proprietary drive systems means an added measure of quality
and the assurance of global compatibility with screws and drivers made by the
network of Phillips licensees.
